This graphic design and art direction project reimagines the visual identity of the French National Forestry Office (ONF), focusing on three main areas: the website, printed materials, and signage for forest sites. The goal was to create a visual system that works well across all these formats while reflecting the identity and mission of the ONF.
The main idea is a topographic system that maps out all the forested areas across mainland France, paired with a custom set of map-inspired visuals. This visual language draws from bark textures, tree shapes, and wood types, turned into patterns used across the terrain. A grid inspired by classic map design ties everything together, keeping the look consistent across digital, print, and physical forest spaces.
